Some of the Gospel music’s biggest names will be in Birmingham August 5-8 leading workshops as part of Harmony Music and Business Conference presented by Faith Chapel Christian Center with Tyscot Records.
Award-winning Singer Byron Cage, Psalmist Joann Rosario, Tyscot Records CEO Dr. Leonard Scott, Acclaimed Producer Steven Ford as well as Birmingham’s own Dr. Henry Panion and many others will be on hand to give singers, choirs, dance ensembles and bands the tools they need to go to the next level.
The conference will feature workshops that provide training in areas such as musicianship, vocal and choral, technology and production, and theater and drama. Topics include The Legal Side of the Music Industry, Shaping or Building A Christ Responsive Choir, Establishing An Effective Praise & Worship Team, Promoting Your Ministry, master classes in choir directing and dancing will be taught as well.
There will be a talent showcase with celebrity judges on Thursday, August 5, and on Friday, August 6, Byron Cage will be in concert. Both of these events are free.
